RoofStacks Took Its Place at TEKNOFEST with Future Technologies

The game “Olpamis,” developed by the gaming studio RoofGames under the roof of RoofStacks, which provides next-generation technological solutions, met with guests at TEKNOFEST.
RoofStacks, which develops innovative software technologies in various industries such as Web3, blockchain, financial technologies, gaming, streaming, tourism, and retail, took its place at the festival with its AI-supported solutions and games.
RoofGames, operating under RoofStacks, presented its verticals prominently, including GoArt, RoofMoney, RoofTravel, and RoofStream.
RoofStacks Founder and General Director Burak Soylu stated at the festival that TEKNOFEST is a platform where everyone building the technologies of the future come together.
Burak Soylu, who expressed that they embrace the motto “We build the technologies of the future with the right acceleration, in the right way,” drew attention to the RoofStacks verticals that move in this direction.
He also shared details about the game introduced at TEKNOFEST, “Olpamis,” saying: “This is a 100% local game based on Turkish mythology, and it tells a story of brotherhood. We have been working on it for about one and a half years with a team of 30 people. We have another year and a half ahead of us, and by the end of 2026, it will be released on Steam.”
Explaining that the pre-order process for Olpamis, inspired by Turkish mythology, has begun and that the first demo version received great interest at the festival, Burak Soylu added: “Olpamis is a game that we’ve touched in every aspect, from its story, concept, and technology to its development. When we look at global standards, producing such a game usually takes around two and a half to three years.”
Highlighting that RoofGames, which gained recognition with Olpamis, is also working on a second war game, Burak Soylu mentioned that developments on this project will be announced soon.
Emphasizing that although Türkiye has significant potential in the gaming industry, it has not yet reached the position it deserves, Burak Soylu said: “Türkiye has great capacity in the gaming sector, but I believe we still have a way to go to reach the place we truly deserve.”
“We’re Among the Most Crucial Local Blockchain Developers”
Another field operating under RoofStacks is blockchain and AI-based technology investments. RoofStacks, acting through different verticals that offer expertise in these areas, is taking its place in building the technology of the future. Burak Soylu shared his view, saying:
“We believe that in about five years, all payment systems will operate on blockchain. Therefore, we foresee that this will become one of Türkiye’s national strategies. We are among the most crucial actors developing this technology.”
He also emphasized that the independence of national companies can sometimes be limited by foreign investors, expressing his opinion as follows: “I don’t want to create a game that doesn’t serve our national policy. I’m not against receiving investment or meeting with investors, but every game we produce as a company will always carry subliminal messages about our national values and traditions.”
“We Aim to Be a Playmaker”

Expressing that Türkiye is currently not at the desired level in technology exports, Burak Soylu stated that this situation needs to change. In this regard, he commented: “We’re not at the point we want to be in technological exports. If I remember correctly, we’re around 4–5 billion dollars. Looking at other countries, for example, India is at 100 billion dollars. Therefore, we have generally subcontracted the technology we’ve produced so far.”
Emphasizing the potential that Türkiye holds to become a playmaker in this field, Burak Soylu stated: “We aim to be a playmaker. Why shouldn’t Türkiye achieve the same success in gaming or blockchain as we did with UCAVs and UAVs? TEKNOFEST instills this confidence in young people. The awareness of ‘We can make this’ has grown stronger with the vision of TEKNOFEST. Türkiye has built a mechanism capable of being self-sufficient in every field, and the youth of Türkiye have every kind of potential.”
